More Toonfetish info!

Hey folks! Check out the Toonfetish evite I just posted for some cool news and info on this wicked show. It’s coming up soon, and it’s sure to be a real blast! Plus you’ll get a chance to pick up original art by tons of today’s biggest names in Gay erotic cartoon art. I’m even selling a few pieces!

For all you fans who are art collectors, you should know that I have selected 4 of my ALL-TIME favorite pieces to exhibit and sell in this show: Camili-Cat VS the Iadeians; Naked Justice VS The Prick; Incubus VS Jon Dazy; Blizzard. These are the genuine article — all originals drawn and lovingly inked by yours truly!!! Check ’em out below!

You all know that I don’t part with originals easily — or often — and these four are ( I feel ) some of my sexiest, most choice stuff. So if you are interested in becoming the proud owner of one or more of these pieces, go to the show and buy up as many as you like. Or if you can’t make it to the show, call the Antebellum gallery to purchase yours over the telephone.

The Toonfetish show is ESPECIALLY important because it is making the statement that Gay Erotic Comic Art is GENUINE and VALID art, worthy of admiration and appreciation. It is exposing work that is as crafted and polished as ANY mainstream comic book art, and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that this form of art has a very important place in Pop culture as well as Gay culture.

So check out the show! It’ll be fantastic! For more info and details, go to the Antebellum Gallery website!

Smooches to you all!!!

  1. Wish I lived closer to go to this show. It’s gonna be awesome.

  2. Hey HvH…

You know, Both Glen and I are always saying how much we wish you were closer too! I think the three of us would have a blast talking art and stuff. Plus, it would be really nice to get to meet in person someday. :)

But if it’s any consolation, I can’t personally attend the show either. :( But you’re right — judging from all that has been done for the show, it is bound to be really wicked!

    Much love, my friend,
    Patrick XOXO

  3. Looks like quite an extraordinary event. I wish I could attend it but obviosly that is not going to happen. You picked some really great originals to be put up for sale, and I’m sure they will sell rather quickly. There really should be an event like this in London, and if something like that does happen some day, you should be there as well, I would love to meet you some day.

  4. I love your work so much. I just wish that work like yours was more mainstream so it would be easier to obtain, but it’s not the fact that it’s gay it’s the fact that it’s erotica, but you pull it off with such class and grace what else could you call it but art?

God what I’d give for a PF original. Of Flamer. haha. Argh the torment of being a skint student! Can barely afford to get the comics!

  6. Hey Patrick,

I wished I lived closer to have a peek a boo at Toonfetish.

I’ve told several of my artist friends in Sydney about it and they have all said that this would be the perfect event for next years Mardi Gras Festival Month, also that the Museum Of Contemporary Art would snap it big time and show in conjunction with their Tom of Finland excibition. They do a showing of Tom’s work on a regular basis and get originals sent over from the foundation, it really goes off.

It’s a pity you can’t make it, it would have been great to hear a review from your point of view even as a spectator of your own work.

Maybe you can have a chat to the organisers about doing a series of video clips and posting them up on You Tube…..

    Big Hugz!

If they had that show where I live, half the people would faint and the other half would go up in flames. Of course that would mean a small line to get in.

I agree these are some of your better and more detailed works, but I’m still partial to the “Security Alert” original I got from your websight. The upper left one is very tempting though.

  8. Hello everybody…

Great to hear from you and it’s so cool to see the excitement building over what promises to be a wonderful art show! :o)

Reikro… It would be great to see the show “hit the road” as it were. I don’t think it is going to happen with this one, but perhaps the success of Toonfetish will inspire other galleries in other cities to host similar showings. I firmly believe that this is an important event and that others will follow. Much love to ya! XOXO

Mountii… Welcome to my Blog, dude! Thanks for the really kind comment! I really appreciate it. As for my work being more widely available, you may be happy to know that Class Comics are now being distributed through Diamond Comics Distribution. That means you can ask your local comic shop to carry my work and other Class Comics titles. There’s more info at the Class Comics website Thanks again for stopping by! Come back anytime! :o) XOXO

White Wabbit… Thanks for the sweet words, my friend. I’ve never actually put any of my Flamer art up for sale. I have a really hard time parting with originals, and it nearly killed me to put these 4 pieces in Toonfetish! LOL!!! But I am getting better. But for now, I think you best place for Flamer is the comics. I hope to draw him again soon – and you can count on him being a part of Felinoids #3. Hugz + Kisses! XOXO

Manny… Yeah, I wish you guys and ME could attend the show! There are going to be so many fantastic artists present and represented like Dronio, Drubskin and Glen Hanson to name just a few. I think a show of this nature would really appeal to everyone here. A great way of making sure this kind of thing could happen elsewhere is to talk about it with local art galleries in your respective areas. A lot of times, Gallery owners are open to hosting a showing that has worked elsewhere before. Much love, my friend! XOXO

Refferstuff… Great to hear from you, my friend. Yeah, some communities might really freak if a show like Toonfetish came to their town. It’s unfortunate, but true alas. Still, I was glad to see that you enjoyed my choice of originals! Also, it’s great to hear from someone who has purchased some of my original art in the past. Makes me feel good to know my work has found a good home! :o) I’ll be curious to see if this new Incubus original ( I think this is the one you mean!) wins you over! LOL!!! Thanks again for the great comment my friend! XOXO

    Much love to ya all!
