I’ve got some great news for you today!  Hot off the press, Space Cadet #1 is now shipping!

Class Comics' SPACE CADET #1 is Hot Off the Press!

Ever since his first appearance way back in “the Incredibly Hung Naked Justice #2”, Space Cadet has been a fan favorite.  He is a powerful, handsome hero with a unique look and personality which many readers can identify with.

Now in his very own mini series, Space Cadet will prove once again why he is so popular with fans.  Called upon to help liberate the oppressed satyrs from the evil Baron Von Phallus, Space Cadet dives into action employing his amazing new super powers to fight the good fight.

Space Cadet #1 picks up after the events in Rapture #3, and plunges Space Cadet deep into the mystical realm of Ordovica.  You’ll meet sexy new characters, such as Strider, the King of the centaurs and get re-acquainted with familiar faces such as Vallan and Baron Von Phallus.

Space Cadet #1 is written by yours truly, and beautifully illustrated by Class Comics newcomer, Bob Grey.  I also created 4 new art pieces for the front, back and inside covers of the book.  For more info on this wicked new mini series, check out the official Space Cadet Mini Site.  It was designed by Nookiedog and he did a gorgeous job with it.  It’s absolute eye-candy! And to learn more about Space Cadet, check out his newly updated character bio.

Hello my friends…

Today I want to let you know that the brand new Class Comics website is now up and running.  This overhaul was LONG overdue, and the new version of the site has a lot more in the way of user friendliness, info and hot,horny Boytoon bling.  It’s also WAY easier for us to maintain and update, so you can count on more frequent posts.

It makes total sense that the Class Comics website is where you would go to get all the latest info on our current and up-coming titles.  With that in mind, we think you will really enjoy a new feature on the site we call “First Looks” as part of our News section.  That’s where you’ll see reports on our forthcoming projects and even get cool, sneak previews of art, stories etc…

Get your first look at Space Cadet #1 on the new and improved CLASS COMICS website!

Speaking of “First Looks”, the soon-to-be-released Space Cadet #1 is currently previewed on the site.  You can take a look at the gorgeous artwork that Class Comics newcomer, artist Bob Grey created for the interior of the book.  I myself drew 4 brand new art pieces for this very special issue, including the front and back covers, and inside covers.  Plus, the preview gives you a little overview of what you can expect from Space Cadet’s first solo adventure.

And do keep your eyes peeled, because we’re preparing an exclusive sneak preview of NAKED JUSTICE: BEGINNINGS #2 for the site.  You won’t want to miss your first look at the INCREDIBLE and jaw droppingly HOT HOT HOT art by Jacob Mott from the book. Also in the works is a ZAHN #2 preview… so be sure to check back often.

You’ll also notice that we have added a TON of cool contributor bios.  If you want the skinny on creators like Johnny Murdoc, TJ Wood, Lizz Ventura, Leon de Leon and Nicolas Brunet, all you gotta do is check out the newest additions to the contributors section.

Fans of the Class Comics universe of characters will also be thrilled to learn that new character bios have been added, and that more bios are planned as regular updates.  New to the section this month are Stephane and Catnip.

There’s also plenty of other cool stuff and more is planned for future updates.  For example we want to add to the goodies section – you know, the place you can get all sorts of free stuff.  So expect free wallpaper, animations, videos and other cool treats and surprises to be added shortly.

And lastly, but certainly not least, we want to hear from you.  Feel free to leave your comments on the website.  Discuss articles.  Ask questions if you like.  We love hearing from all of you boys and girls.  You guys matter a great deal to us, so don’t be shy!  Speak up!

Hiya Gang…

Seems it’s been quite a while since I did an issue of BOYTOONS MAGAZINE!  It’s long overdue, and I have an awesome topic today!  The incredible artist EPHOROX!
I absolutely go nuts for his gorgeous art.

I can’t say enough good stuff about this amazing creator.  His hunks are super buff, and always stunningly sexy.  They’re hung and constantly hungry to bottom and shoot their abundant loads all over the place.  But as sexual as they are, Ephorox’s men are also achingly adorable and sweet.  You just want to bear hug and caress them… amongst other things! LOL!

Ephorox has created several original characters of his very own, such as the delicious Monkey King, who is regularly royally ravaged by a number of horny admirers. Whether they are anthros or regular guys, the characters of Ephorox are unmistakably unique.  They are smokin’ hot and their sensuality oozes from their pores.

The hunky Monkey King is a perfect example of the beauty of Ephorox's OC's.

Artistically speaking, Ephorox is a master craftsman.  His colors are lush and always superbly balanced, and his attention to nuance and detail is impeccable. But his unfinished sketches are no less impressive than his colored works.  They are raw with skill, sexuality and sensuality.  Each piece tells its own story, and you as the viewer — the enjoyer, are free to come up with your own dialog.  It’s an incredibly fun hobby that you’ll easily get lost in, let me tell you!

Every time I see a new piece of art by Ephorox, my heart skips a beat.  In fact, he also has the distinction of being one of my Fraser’s most favorite artists.  Yup!  He’s THAT good!

"Ephorox Uncensored" is Ephorox's newly-created Blog.

Ephorox has just created his own blog called “Ephorox Uncensored”, so you can see more of his brilliant creations there. That’s got me very excited and I look forward to checking out all of his latest pieces. And for those of you with memberships to the Y!, I guarantee you’ll want to stop by Ephorox’s amazing gallery!

Zahn #2 by Patrick Fillion. Coming Summer 2010 from Class Comics.

Hello good people…

I thought you might like to know that I am literally 5 pages away from wrapping up the art on Zahn #2.  That means that I am TOTALLY on track to meet my deadline… and that means that you can expect Zahn #2 to be released this summer as planned.  WAH-HOO!

Now of course, the final release date has yet to be nailed down, but I am optimistic that that the wait will be over soon.

I put together this cool little teaser to (hopefully) wet your appetite for the issue.  LOL! You can expect some new faces in this book as well as a whole lot of other cool stuff!  For a more thorough progress report on Zahn #2, check out this article on my personal website!

Hello my friends.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the long weekend. Happy Easter to you all, by the way!

It’s been a really busy month here at Class Comics, for several very exciting reasons. I’m near the end of Zahn #2 — yes, you heard me – Zahn #2 is almost complete!  LOL!  I’m happy to anounce that I am on track for the Summer 2010 release deadline!

I’ve also been keeping busy assembling art and creating brand new images for my new hard cover art book called “ilLUSTrations: the Art of Patrick Fillion” with publisher Bruno Gmunder.  I couldn’t be happier about this!  Bruno Gmunder is a fantastic publisher and they produce nothing but the most beautiful, highest quality books.  It’s always a real pleasure working with them on a project.

The book is due out in August 2010, and I’m working hard putting every aspect together.  You can check out my personal website for more info on the book… and I’ve put together a little sneak preview promo montage for you guys to enjoy… you’ll notice that I even slipped in a portion of a piece I like to call “Spot fucks Cam” part 2.  Part 1 is also in the book as an exclusive image and I call that one “Cam fucks Spot”!  Needless to say, your requests to see Spot and Cam together did not fall upon deaf ears!  LOL!

The folks at TLA video have just announced the 2010 TLA Gaybies – their very own awards meant to honor the best work of gay writers, filmmakers and performers in their respective fields.

I am SO PLEASED to let you guys know that a bunch of my own projects as well as several other books released by Class Comics last year have been nominated and YOU can vote for your favorites.

Well folks…

…All good things must come to an end. It’s been a full 2 weeks of back to back postings, and we’ve certainly had a blast, haven’t we!  LOL!  Tonight, Sunday night — the last night of the 2010 Winter Olympics here in Vancouver — and I’ve just gotten back from watching the closing ceremonies with some good friends.  What a show!  In particular, Alanis was lovely and sounded wonderful.  She was a joy to watch.  Congrats to all the athletes!! :o)

I could talk about Crash Course #1, Tug Harder #2, the up-coming Captain Eclipse #1, or any number of other Class Comics project, but instead, I will bid you all a fabulous good night and retire early.  It’s been a big weekend, and this artist needs his beauty rest!  LOL!

I’ll be back sooner than you know it, with more cool Boytoon-related postings… but for now I’m off to dreamland!

Iván García's "Captain Eclipse" #1, coming 2010 from Class Comics.

Evenin’ folks!

I trust everyone is having a lovely Saturday? I have a few teasers for you this evening.  They are for “Captain Eclipse” written and illustrated by Iván García.  Book #1 is coming this year from Class Comics and it’s absolutely fantastic!  I am super excited by this title because it is a true science fiction epic saga if ever I have seen one… and best of all it features a fantastic cast of truly original gay protagonists.

Captain Eclipse is a non-sexually explicit  book, but it has plenty of sensuality and sexy characters.  So if you are looking for a seriously well written and illustrated comic without any hard-core sex in it… if you’re really just looking for a mainstream comic that speaks to you by providing incredible story telling and action through compelling gay characters, then Captain Eclipse is a series for you.
