Nightcrawler by Patrick Fillion

You’ve all been so sweet with me since the start of this blog, that I thought I would whip up a little present for you all! So here is my version of Nightcrawler… gloriously stuffed into his skin-tight spandex! I tried to make his sexy without being too, too raunchy… something of a challenge for me! LOL!!!

But seriously, I really appreciate that all of you continue to be so supportive and encouraging! And you know what…I will try to whip up some other Marvel characters done my way for you all again very soon!

So lemme know what you think of Kurt… and I’ll have more steamy Boytoons for you all very soon!

Much love to you all!
Patrick XOXO

  1. G’morning Patrick,

Kurt/Nightcrawler has always been my favorite X-Man: He is not too bulky and surely is more bendable than Wolverine heh :D

Your rendering is beautiful, I love the pose and the smirk on his face. Thanks for Your art and for being supremely cool!

    Love, peace.

  2. I can’t see Stan Lee giving his blessing to that particular image… which is why it’s so cool that you’ve drawn it, Patrick! Thanks. :)

  3. Hiya Phrog and G-Man…

Thanks for the comments! I’m glad you guys like the Nightcrawler… although I think the next one I draw will have to be completely nude! And I’m sure Stan Lee won’t approve of that one either! LOL!!

Now we all see why I could never work for Marvel! The temptation to show off the Heroes’ stuff is just TOOOO Great! HA! HA! HA!

    Thanks again guys!

    Very Nice work.
I know your a Nightcrawler fan, cause he does have that slender body type, but I’d love to see your rendering of Wolverine too, if you every wanted too?

Great work Patrick, keep it up!

  5. Hi Charlie…

Glad you enjoyed Nightcrawler, my friend. I will have to keep the Wolverine suggestion in mind! Meanwhile there is a small image of him included in my Marvel Super Heroes pencil sketch! Not as juicy as Nightcrawler, but it’s a start.

To be honest, I have never been Wolvie’s biggest fan, but I can certainly see why he is so popular! I just might have something that will satisfy your Wolvie craving in the next few days to come! Keep watching! ;)

  6. There just aren’t any words to describe how much you rock.

I absolutely love seeing you lend you’re erotic style of drawing to characters whose sexuality really gets downplayed sometimes because of their target audience.

Don’t get me wrong, I *love* all your characters, it’s just nice to see the buff guys I grew up loving get the same treatment all your hotties do (seriously, I’d probably have a heart attack if Marvel ever decided to give Spidey that awesome bulge you did in the group shot).

Thanks again for all the awesome art you’ve been posting.

You know the fun thing with the way you draw them Patrick is that it does have a level of honesty to it. Here you have in comics super heroes with hard, musculer bodies, and the suits they were always shows every detail of their musculer frames, the six pack ripples or their thigh muscles, but comic artist stop short of drawing a hero’s manhold in as much detail. Often you don’t even see a male heroes nipples through the costume, but a womans nips do show through (like Storm or Rogue).

At least their are artists like you that give to comic fans what they’ve wanted to see for years now!

  8. Hiya TJ and Charlie…

I’m so pleased you boys liked my little rendition of Nightcrawler! You know, it can be a real pleasure to draw the characters I grew up loving because it’s a fun change from drawing my Boytoons. Don’t get ME wrong, I LOVE my guys and would draw them ALL the time, but there is something really cool about depicting a character like Nightcrawler, in, dare I say, a more REALISTIC WAY! …well…sort of…LOL!!!

Charlie, I COMPLETELY agree with you that mainstream comics are pretty one-sided. You’re right, sometimes female characters look like complete trollops, with their skimpy little costumes that wouldn’t keep a tick mouse dry in a drizzle! I mean really, and then there are the bulging breasts and impossible headlights…YIKES! Now honestly, I would be waaaaaaay more cool with all of that if things were more even between the female and the male characters.

The fact is that a guy wearing skin-tight spandex is gonna have a hard time hiding his family jewels. There is going to be SOME hint that he has something stuffed into his pants! I think some artists respect those rules a bit, and not just the gay ones, but mostly, it’s FLAT CITY BABY!

And nipples are another thing! That kinda stuff just tends to poke up underneath costumes and stuff… But again, very rarely do artists consider drawing this. Sigh… we live in such a biased world.

All that to say that it is a pleasure to try and even out the score with the stuff I draw!

    Much love to you both,
    Patrick XOXO

Well, I have to say that I loved your rendition of Nightcrawler. Very, very sexy.

I’m hoping there’ll be a Gambit and a Colossus at some point, two heroes who I’d absolutely love to see your personal version of. Great drawing once again!

Also, I have to say that Cam and Locus are two very hot extra-terrestrials, I absolutely love ’em.

  10. Hello Digitaldude5…

Thanks so much for stopping by! So glad you liked my rendition of Nightcrawler! I will certainly keep your other X-Men suggestions in mind! You never know when the muse will strike next!

Nice to hear that you find Cam and Locus sexy as well. I would have to say they are my 2 favorite creations! So stay toned! I’ll have more of them to post on the blog very soon!

    Thanks again for the message!

  11. Hiya G-Man…

Hmmmm… that’s a LOT of votes for Colossus! I will have to keep that in mind for sure! I’ve always been curious about how he might look nude… Who knows what the future hold?

    Thanks again for your post!

  12. Hey Patrick finally got a little blog space so I can comment on you posts! =D Hey your crawler looks awesome! Like so many other I am a big fan, was wondering if you have gotten and enjoyed the newest little series he had with Darick Robertson drawing him. I loved his portrayal of the lil fuzzy blue guy! Did you like it if you got ahold of it?

  13. Hi Nick!
Thanks for stopping by! I’m glad you liked my image of Kurt! :)

I actually just bought the Nightcrawler series this past weekend. You see I am a TBP whore and on some titles, I prefer to wait until they come out in graphic novel format. My local shop was always out of the Nightcrawler books, but was finally able to order them in for me!

So far, I am totally loving it!! Darick’s artwork is beautiful, and though I am not very far into the books yet, the story seems really intriguing!

I’ll be sure to let you know what I think once I’ve finished them completely!

    Thanks again for writing!

  14. Thats awesome, TPB’s are good. I hope you enjoy the series, I really liked it. I was really sad to see it end so soon though! =( Right now I’m intrested in getting Namor and Young Avengers. I love falling in love with art in comics, even if I’m a little late on finding em. =D

  15. Hi Nick…

I totally know what you mean! I am really into the New Avengers at the moment! The writing is brilliant and the art is really beautiful! Especially the Frank Cho chapters! And Spider Woman has a really cool story going on… you should take a peek if you get a chance. it’s great, fun reading!

    Take care and thanks again!

PS – I’ve read more of Nightcrawler, and it is WICKED fun! Loved seeing Magik again! Cheers!

  16. Patrick, love your take on “classic” superheros. Nothing against the original artists, but I feel like you display them the way they should have been rendered in the first place. Why wouldn’t all their attributes be “super”? ;-)
